Being a child of God does not mean that you are perfect, or that your life is easy. It means that you recognize your brokenness and because of how Christ has redeemed you, and given you his righteousness, you are made beautiful. I have come to know that the only thing that is beautiful in me is God. Anything that is good about me, is only a result of God working in me, and changing me according to His purpose. The Lord is a perfect match for all of the broken.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
