It was difficult for me to come up with a lesson plan. I had a lot of resources and information I could present, but not all of it was relevant to all girls from 3rd through 12th grade. I had to condense all of the information I had, and make my plan to include activities to keep the girls engaged.
Before this project, I had never presented something completely by myself. I've had bits and pieces of things where I'm in front of people, and might even have a solo for something;however, I'm generally with other people. For this event, I was solely responsible for speaking to the girls, and for keeping their attention. I usually try to avoid presenting something where all focus is on me, and for this project I had to overcome that.
